Moderation and Report Policy
This policy explains how Groupvie receives, prioritizes, reviews, and resolves reports about content or behavior.
How to report
Reports may be submitted from report controls on listings, profiles, events, chats, or messages. Guests may report. Email is optional. Evidence images may be attached, and only relevant data should be submitted.
Receipt code
Each successfully submitted report receives a receipt code. Keep it as a reference when contacting support, legal@groupvie.com, or abuse@groupvie.com.
Priority
Urgent safety, child exploitation, threats, legal, fraud, abuse, and privacy reports may be prioritized. Groupvie is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services first where there is immediate danger.
Review process
Status may move from Open to Reviewing, Resolved, or Dismissed. Administrators may preserve evidence, temporarily restrict access, request more information, remove or retain content as evidence, and record an internal decision.
Appeals
Users affected by moderation may use an available appeal route. For review appeals, the review recipient may submit one appeal per review with a comment and up to 3 evidence photos. An administrator may approve or reject the appeal. When approved, the review, star rating, and comment are removed and reputation is recalculated. Appeal evidence is automatically deleted after three months. The administrator decision is final and the same review cannot be appealed a second time.
Retention and legal hold
Reports, evidence, logs, and related content may be retained as needed for disputes, investigations, legal holds, authority requests, or legal obligations even after the content is no longer public.
