Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Groupvie, a user-generated classified ads and event discovery platform operated by an Indonesia-based sole proprietor. By using Groupvie, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy, Safety Notice, and FAQ.
Platform role
Groupvie provides tools for users to publish listings, discover events, chat, follow profiles, review organizers, and manage membership. Groupvie is not a party to user transactions, offline meetings, deliveries, item condition, organizer promises, attendee behavior, or payments made outside the platform, except where required by applicable law.
User responsibility
You are responsible for your own listings, communications, transactions, events, meetups, attendance decisions, and safety checks. Verify identities, items, venues, payment details, prices, and rules before transacting or attending.
Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Groupvie.
Prohibited content and activity
You may not post or promote illegal, unsafe, misleading, infringing, or harmful content. Prohibited items and services include drugs, prescription medicine, weapons, stolen goods, counterfeit goods, fake documents, protected wildlife, adult sexual services, fraud, illegal jobs, gambling, high-risk investment schemes, malware, harassment, hate, violence, impersonation, trademark misuse, and anything that violates applicable law.
Events and QR attendance
Organizers are responsible for event accuracy, venue rules, permissions, safety, attendee communication, and cancellation notices. Attendance QR check-in is a convenience feature and is valid before the event start time until 6 hours after the event starts. QR attendance does not mean Groupvie supervises or guarantees the event.
Membership limits
Free members can publish up to 2 event listings per calendar month. Premium members can publish up to 4 event listings per calendar month. Groupvie may change limits, pricing, or features for operational, safety, legal, growth, or product reasons.
Premium features
Premium may include a custom profile link, clickable website and social profile links, and clickable links inside listing descriptions. Custom profile links cannot use protected brands, official-sounding names, government terms, impersonation names, or names reserved by Groupvie.
Reports and moderation
Users can report listings, profiles, events, chats, or other content. Groupvie may remove content, restrict accounts, suspend users, hide listings, or preserve records where needed for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or investigation.
Reviews
Reviews must be based on genuine experience. Fake, abusive, irrelevant, defamatory, paid, coerced, or manipulated reviews may be removed.
Payments and refunds
Paid features are processed through the configured payment gateway. Payment methods, settlement, recurring capability, and checkout availability depend on the gateway and user country. Refund terms are explained in the Refund Policy.
Changes to these Terms
Groupvie may update, revise, add, remove, or change these Terms and related policies at any time, with or without prior notice, when needed for legal compliance, safety, abuse prevention, service improvement, product growth, or operational reasons. Continued use of Groupvie after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Groupvie is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or business losses arising from user content, transactions, meetups, events, third-party services, payment disputes outside Groupvie, or user behavior. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
