This Privacy Policy explains how Groupvie handles personal data for accounts, listings, events, chat, attendance, notifications, moderation, and payments.
Data we collect
We may collect account data such as name, email, password hash, profile URL, profile photo, bio, social links, listing content, uploaded images, location data you choose to provide, chat messages, temporary chat attachments, event join status, QR attendance status, reviews, reports, device/browser data, cookies, payment references, and notification preferences.
How we use data
We use data to operate accounts, publish listings, run search and filters, show creator pages, process membership, provide chat, send notifications, manage event QR attendance, prevent abuse, process reports, improve service, and comply with legal obligations.
Follower emails
Follower emails are not shown or downloadable by Free or Premium creators. Creators may notify followers through Groupvie notification tools when followers choose to follow and keep notifications enabled.
Chat attachments
Chat image attachments are compressed to WebP where supported and are designed to be temporary. General chat and follower-chat attachments are automatically cleaned after approximately 6 hours when the cleanup process runs. Support-ticket image attachments are automatically cleaned after approximately 3×24 hours.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited data with payment gateways, hosting providers, email delivery systems, security tools, or legal authorities when required to operate the service, prevent abuse, comply with law, or protect rights and safety.
Cookies and tracking
Necessary cookies keep login, security, preference, membership, chat, and checkout features working. Optional analytics or advertising tools may be added only when configured and should be disclosed in the Cookie Policy.
User choices
You can update profile information, notification preferences, and listings from your dashboard. You may ask for account or data deletion by contacting the operator. Some records may be retained where required for security, dispute handling, legal compliance, billing, fraud prevention, or audit purposes.
International users
By using Groupvie from outside Indonesia, you understand that data may be processed where Groupvie, its hosting provider, payment gateway, or service providers operate.
Policy changes
Groupvie may update this Privacy Policy at any time, with or without prior notice, for legal, operational, safety, security, or product reasons. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
